What is Therapy Online Training and Relationship Based Practices Conversation Cards
What is Therapy Online Training: When children and adolescents have difficult family, social, or academic situations, therapy can be helpful in understanding and managing tough issues.
Relationship Based Practices Conversation Cards: This deck provides easy reminders of eight important elements of relationship-based practices for trauma-informed care. Two cards each are devoted to engagement, environment, empathy, egocentricism, evidence, enthusiasm, and endurance. These cards promote thoughtful discussions of these important concepts.
There are some things that are difficult to change on your own. When you or someone you know is struggling with a confusing or stubborn issue, meeting with a psychotherapist can provide new perspectives that create change.
The training is organized along different points in childrenąs lives, from infancy to toddlerhood to school-age to adolescence. Each section reviews typical developmental milestones, signs of areas that would benefit from therapy, and different forms of therapy that might be useful.
• At the end of each section, you will find a quiz.
• At the end of each training you will find:
• a form for evaluating the training,
• a downloadable “Certificate of Completion.”
Trainings are viewable online in all browsers.
