Learn how to help children manage the doubts and worries that can stop them from learning and playing with our online training, Anxiety in Childhood and Adolescence: Identifying, Understanding, and Responding.

Join Moose on his journey to battle Fret the Flea in the clever and engaging children’s book, Moose the Worry Mutt Goes to Doggie Daycare. From the author of the training, this fun story gives you a way to talk about anxiety in a way that children can understand and enjoy.

The collection of online trainings devoted to special topics addresses prominent questions and issues in the lives of foster youth and those who care for them. We have developed these trainings in response to inquires about different topics and requests for trainings to help people better understand some of the psychological components of life in foster care. Many of the trainings are designed to be used with different decks of Conversation Cards. We invite you to let us know of additional trainings that you think could be useful.

"These online trainings are some of the best that I’ve seen. The wonderful thing about the online trainings is that they are presented from a non-clinical point of view, making them accessible to the community. What a relief to have such great tools finally available to us lay people - thank you to A Home Within for addressing such an important piece of the child welfare landscape!"
