Episode Description

A Home Within- something we all need to have and hold. Join me in this episode as we learn about the emotional needs of America’s foster children and how those needs are being addressed at AHomeWithin.org. I will bet you didn’t know that there are 402,000 foster kids in the United States and that the average child waits 22 months to be adopted? The costs of child abuse and neglect in the US are astronomical each year! Those numbers represent real difficulties in the lives of children we rarely hear about. Even if you don’t have any direct contact with the foster care system, tune in and learn about the needs of these children and how to help.
